School-Year Transportation Contract & Withdrawal Policy
IKare Ryders transportation services operate under a school-year contract. Once a student is enrolled and a seat is reserved, the parent/guardian is responsible for maintaining the student’s enrollment throughout the contracted school year.
If a student is withdrawn from transportation services for one week or longer, without documented hospitalization, medical circumstances, or a qualifying emergency, the student’s seat will not be guaranteed.
Parents/guardians who wish to temporarily discontinue service may choose to maintain the student’s reserved seat by paying the applicable $10 late fee for each day the account remains unpaid until the student returns. Failure to maintain the account may result in the student losing their reserved seat.
If a student is officially withdrawn from IKare Ryders and transportation is needed again at a later date:
-
The student must reapply for transportation services.
-
A new registration fee must be paid for each student.
-
Transportation will be based on route and seat availability at the time of reapplication.
-
The student’s previous seat, route, pickup time, or placement is not guaranteed.
-
This policy is in place because seats are limited and each reserved seat affects our routes, scheduling, and availability for other families.
